How does amazon gift shipping work..please help i sent a gift to someone..?

It depends on the building where she lives. A large building generally has an office and the UPS and mailcarrier bring packages to the office. The office person generally leaves a note on the tenants door, or in their mailbox, or they phone them and inform them there is a package to pick up. Smaller buildings that may not have an office, the delivery person will set it at someones door. Yes, it could be stolen, and I have had stuff stolen that was sent. Amazon sent another one.
