Getting pulled over by police underage drinking?

if you were to be pulled over for underage drinking, is it possible to give him/her a friends or sisters number and she would act like your mother? .. or would they know its not the real number? & why do they jot down addresses ?.. I've gotten stopped by an officer & he has wrote down my address, but didn't make me call.. nothing happened? pretty much just made me throw away all the liquor
